World’s First Smoke Alarm with Camouflage Mode

The PX-1's design is free of unattractive operating controls, like sensor heads or LEDs. Its shape, seen from any angle, is smooth. Perfectly coordinating function with design for the device represented a particular challenge for our engineers. As a result, the PX-1 has an especially user-friendly stop-test button: the entire lower casing is outfitted with the most modern sensor technology. The smoke alarm virtually “feels” when the test alarm gets triggered through touch, or when the alarm mode is deactivated.

The PX-1 smoke alarm is both timelessly modern and highly modifiable. The lower casing is removable and can be individually decorated. The PX-1 is therefore the first smoke alarm in the world that can be harmoniously integrated into any interior. We developed this new feature at the special urgings of our rental customers. Thanks to this “camouflage mode,” the PX-1 smoke alarm can be customized to individual needs: our customers can wallpaper it, paint it, or decorate it with artistic motifs -- it's all good! We’re particularly proud of the small dimensions of the PX-1 smoke alarm: a true David among the Goliaths of the industry.
