The Smoke Alarm Test Button

Intensive studies on smoke alarm usage patterns convinced us to furnish the PX-1 Smoke Alarm with the largest test button ever. DIN EN 14676 recommends using the test button regularly in order to check the functionality of a unit. Because the test button is often difficult to reach and thus also to use with comparable products on the market, PX Technologies developed a test button that extends across the entire bottom area of the smoke alarm. This novelty has especially turned out to be a significant relief for elderly users.

Every apartment is different! PX Technologies developed the Camouflage-Mode so that every client is able to individually design his or her personal PX-1 Smoke Alarm. In contrast to other manufacturers, we offer the possibility for the first time to match a smoke alarm to its environment. Each smoke alarm is delivered with an underside section that can be removed and easily decorated. This allows the customer to optimally customize the smoke alarm to its surroundings or to add accents to it.
