Does a smoke alarm react to cigarette smoke?

As long as a large amount of cigarette smoke is not deliberately blown into the smoke alarm at a very close range, the units will not sound an alarm.

During rigorous testing we have conducted regarding the sensitivity of smoke alarms to cigarette smoke, it was determined that even with numerous smokers in a small room the alarm will not be triggered in the units.
