How are the smoke alarms installed?

We developed the “magnet hot glue fusion technique” (MHF), which makes it possible by means of our special multi-functional, adjustable, and collapsible tool to securely install a smoke detector, in a manner in accordance with DIN 14676, in less than a minute.

During installation our technicians usually work without a ladder. No electricity is required because installation takes place without drilling, and thus causes neither dirt nor noise.

The building structure remains entirely unharmed with the MHF technique. The unit can be easily detached from the subsurface for renovations and even after completely removing the smoke alarm no noteworthy traces from the installation remain.

With the innovative installation technique described here, we have reduced the time required to install a battery-operated smoke alarm from an average of 8-12 minutes using a drill to less than 1 minute. It was with the optimization of this process that it was first possible for us to offer smoke alarm installation free of charge.
