What can a renter/user do if a smoke alarm malfunctions?
The renter/user receives a short instructional sheet from our technicians during every installation and maintenance appointment.
Among other contact information, the instructions contain the service number for our 24-Hour Service Center.
Should a smoke alarm malfunction, the renter/user can call this service center every day of the year around the clock. During the conversation, it will first be determined if there is a safety hazard and if the fire brigade must also be contacted and further emergency instructions need to be given.
If it is only a matter of a malfunction, the caller will be given instructions over the phone for provisional corrective measures, to the extent that is possible and reasonable. If necessary, the closest available service technician will subsequently also be commissioned for an on-site repair of the smoke alarm.
Using our highly developed personnel and service logistics in connection with the information technology that has been created specifically for us, it is often possible to make quick and lasting repairs within a very short period of time.
